Posted: 2008-02-16 Under: Mocoda NewsSome of our competitors monitor the “Domain Name System” (the WHOIS databse) to identify names coming up for renewal. These competitors solict Domain Name holders to renew their account(s) by transferring it to them. These solicitations come in a variety of forms such as a telephone call or a letter sent through regular mail.
A renewal letter could look like the following:
Acting on these notifications can result in a loss of your Mocoda Interactive services such as email or webhosting. These notifications will require you to transfer your domain away from Mocoda Interactive.
Mocoda Interactive and our partner companies will never contact you through regular mail. Our only contact for renewing domains is through your email address and all of our company representatives will directly identify themselves as a member of the Mocoda Interactive team.
