Yelp and Foursquare

One of the easiest ways your small business can obtain better search engines results is by getting online reviews. With this in mind, to help with your local search listings in Google and other search engines, we are now recommending that our clients register their businesses with Yelp and Foursquare.
- Foursquare – To claim or register your business, simply follow this link search for your business. If your business is not listed click the Add a new venue to foursquare link near the bottom of the search results.
- Yelp – To claim or register your business, simply follow this link, click the Claim My Business button and search for your business. If your business is not listed click the Add your business to Yelp link near the bottom of the search results.
Once you have completed your business registration, make sure you do the following:
- Ask your customers for reviews! Put up a sign, put it on your business card, print it out on your menus or receipts.
- Respond to EVERY review (positive or negative)! Thank the person for taking the time, always be nice, never attack or accuse, try to make it right!
